Als Claires Schwester Luise zum Studieren in die USA geht, übernimmt Claire ihre Wohnung und steigt in Luises erfolgreichen Mode-Vlog ein. „Heimatkleid“ heißt das erste Label, das sie vorstellen soll. Das Konzept – Produktion ohne Ausbeutung, in Deutschland genäht – klingt einleuchtend, gut aussehen tut das Kleid auch.

Aber mitten in Claires Interview mit der Labelgründerin fliegen Farbbeutel gegen die Schaufenster und draußen wird „Nazis raus“ skandiert. Claire ist verstört: Was soll denn an einem so guten Ansatz verkehrt sein?

Auch mit den neuen Nachbarn ist es nicht so einfach: Tom ist zwar hilfsbereit und dazu verdammt attraktiv. Und dass er sich für seine Überzeugungen einsetzt, gefällt Claire. Aber stimmt es wirklich, dass alle im Haus die neue Partei wählen werden, von der Tom so schwärmt? Und warum behauptet er Dinge, von denen Claire weiß, dass sie nicht stimmen? Als Claire plötzlich Stellung beziehen muss, fällt ihr das alles andere als leicht.
